, is that the western states of nevada and colorado with a huge hispanic vote and the support the president has from the hispanic community is a huge factor. in florida i can't predict. it's very close there. but it's up to the ground game. what i have seen, for instance, in florida the volunteers and campaigns of president obama four years ago it was mostly young people. this time it's more people, but young people, senior citizens, soccer moms, veterans, a larger turnout getting out that vote. and i think that's what's going to be decisive. >> you know what's interesting about the hispanic vote, there are 4 million more registered la kn tee knows. but i want to ask about your state. how do you think the president is going to perform in swing states like colorado and nevada? >> well, my view is that that hispanic vote, which is key in my state with 43%, it's key in nevada and colorado upwards of 20%, is going to come out in huge turnout because of the president's strong records are hispanics on job creation, health care, and immigration reform. and the perception that the romney

ultimate deciding factor in a state? nevada is the opposite case. high unemployment rate but some argue harry reid has put enough machinery on the ground to make a difference for the democrats. >> first, can you hear me this time? >> we can. >> great. so first i will say as a virginia resident, i think we're all going to be very happy when this election is finally over. when you're in a swing state you get ten robo calls a day and things stuffed in your mailbox every night. virginia is exceptional for a couple reasons. first, governor mcdonald has done quite an extraordinary job of lifting the economy here, done it with a set of policies that are in direct opposition to president obama has done in the past and will do in the future, that is he's lowered tax rates closed a budget deficit. but as was pointed out earlier, virginia is also a place that benefits tremendously from federal government, from the military, and from businesses that associate themselves with the defense establishment in general. i do think that if virginia goes to obama, that's a bad sign for the romney campa

heller of nevada. new. he voted against the ryan budget. he's, of course, from the same state as harry reid. so you can count on the majority leader to keep the pressure on him. and then mark kirk of illinois who took the president's old senate seat. he's a moderate who voted to repeal don't ask don't tell but on the other hand he also voted for the ryan budget. finally, lindsey graham, collaborated with democrats on issues like immigration and climate change but is up for re-election in the very red state of south carolina in 2014. he will probably feel pressure from the right to stand firm. joining me now is sahilkapuh. he wrote the article about the five republican senators who might work across the aisle. he joins us from washington d.c. i'm also joined by our favorite democratic strategist, donnie fowler. thanks donnie, thanks, is sahil for joining me inside "the war room." can harry reid bring those republican senators over to avoid a filibuster if not all of them? maybe some of them and which of the republicans is most likely to come over? >> it really depends on which iss
